Paint a Ceramic Spoon
Step into a quiet, considered space for making at 2a Mitre Studios This intimate workshop invites a small group of creatives to explore the expressive potential of a singular object: the ceramic spoon. Each piece has been individually handmade by the artist, whose 16 years of practice in ceramics and surface decoration are at the heart of this experience. Working in a group of just four, you’ll have the time and space to experiment with mark-making, colour, and composition—guided as much or as little as you wish. This is an opportunity to slow down, refine your ideas, and create something both personal and enduring. Your finished piece will be carefully glazed and kiln-fired after the session, transforming it into a tactile, functional artwork to keep. — A focused, small-scale experience — Crafted materials, thoughtfully prepared — A unique object, made entirely your own Location: 2a Mitre Av. ***** ReviewsWe had such a lovely time painting our pottery with Yani 💛 She took great care of us from the start - she was welcoming, calming and positive, sharing her knowledge and thoughtfully guiding us throughout the session. It’s a fun and relaxing way to spend a few hours. Definitely recommend and can't wait to collect our pottery!

Had a lovely day at Yanires studio with a friend.
We had made some pottery made on a trip to Aya Napa and couldnt find a single place in London that could let me paint and fire the pieces. Had a lovely day with my friend, some tea and chocolate. Will reccomend as a lovely date with a friend. She taught us how to paint!! Zara |
I really love the care Yaniré puts into her ceramics. You can feel it in every piece she makes.
She has such a calm, easy way of explaining things that makes everything feel very approachable, even if you’re new to ceramics. If you’re visiting the Walthamstow Art Trail in June, I’d highly recommend booking a workshop with Yaniré. It’s a lot of fun and a really lovely way to spend some time being creative. Kay |
